Meet Tony Herrera

Tony Hererra is the Senior Maintenance Accounts Manager.

Tony has over 20 years of landscaping experience.  His stints included 1 year at John Lee Gardening Service, 3 years with his own business, 5 years at Garden West, a few years with John Black Landscaping, 8 years at Tru Green and three years and counting at DK Landscaping.

Tony received the “Crew Leader of the Year” award for Northern California in 2004 while working for the largest landscaping company in the world.

The main reason Tony joined DK Landscaping was that he was frustrated that at other companies he was not allowed the time and resources to provide excellent service to the clients.

Tony’s outstanding attributes are his desire to provide the very best service for the clients, is happiest when he sees the joy in the clients face because of his service, team player that supports people and a fatherly figure that is always seeking to help others.

Tony is married to Phong Hererra.  He has a stepson Alvaro “Al” that he raised and lives in Santa Rosa. Tony also has a daughter Antoinette “Nettie” that is attending Santa Rosa Junior College studying to be a counselor.  She lives in Windsor.  Tony enjoys spending as much time as he can with her going to the movies, playing sports like volleyball and soccer and most important to her – shopping.

Crew Leader of the Year Award

Today – a fun time for Tony is spending time with his wife, son and especially daughter, bowling, volleyball, soccer and shopping.  Also he enjoys the beach, park and running.

As a child he like playing in trees and jumping from tree to tree and earned the nickname Monkey Boy.  Also, he liked to high jump over barbed-wired fences up to shoulder height and won many bets over it.
